Type Design: Radical Innovations in Typography is an editorial publication based on the book ‘Type Design: Radical Innovations in Typography’ by Teal Triggs. The book is based around type and typography terms.
I was briefed on producing visuals to accompany each chapter. I was able to demonstrate my design skills in relation to form, space and composition. I produced my own modular typeface ‘Pixit’ for the editorial publication which was based on a retro style of 80’s gaming. Techniques used were both hand produced and digital, collaging and manipulating the forms and structure of the typeface.
